Cakes for Ale

Calling all cake bakers and eaters ….. come rain or shine there will be another cake stall on Saturday, 10th October from 9am outside the Stonesfield village shop.

As well as cake, we will have "guess the weight" of a large pumpkin grown locally with the winner receiving an infused gin generously donated by Claire Renshaw of CP Infusions, who is based in the village. You’ll also be able to pick up a pumpkin ready for Halloween carving (there's a competition for children coming soon!).

You can help boost our funds by coming along and buying on the day AND/OR donating items for sale on the stall: cakes, biscuits, jam, chutney and any excess fruit/veg you might still have on the allotment. It would be really helpful if you could let us know in advance that you're donating to help with logistics (susan@backthewhitehorse.com)

Please deliver donations to Susan Rudlin on Friday, 9th October at 21 Longore, Stonesfield or give her a call on 01993 891679 and Susan will arrange a collection from you.
